
The smallest Sea bath of the Island of Usedom is located between Zinnowitz and Koserow at the smallest place between the Baltic Sea and the backwater. The classic baths of the emperors Bansin, Ahlbeck and Heringsdorf are only approximately 15 kilometers away. Zempin also can be reached through the „Usedomer Bäderbahn“.
Zemplin is firstly mentioned in history in the year 1571 as a farmer´s and fishermen´s village under the flag of Pommerania, Sweden and Russia. The foundation stone for bathing and swimming is laid with the construction of a beach hotel in 1895. 1990 Zempin was warded with the title of a Sea bath and many holiday houses, holiday flats and hotels are built.

On the admission to the beaches Layout will find relics of the old salt huts, which were used for the preservation of fish. At the fishermen´s harbour of the backwater an oak which is supposed to be approximately 350 years thrones.
The studio of the painter Rose Kühn can be visited upon request. An exhibition of boat models and the reconstruction of a corner shop of 1928.
Camping on the idyllic camping site at Zempin is possible even since 1956. The nature studies path with a length of 9 kilometers is recommended for active tourists.
