West Springfield – between pure nature and the metropolis Boston

West Springfield is located in the South of the US State Massachusetts. The community with its friendly open-minded inhabitants is directly situated at the beautiful Connecticut River, halfway between the metropolis Boston and the nature reserve Catskill Park. Here you can spend recreative your holidays.

If you want to travel, we advise you to drive with a rental car in Eastern direction. After almost 90 miles there will be the Atlantic Ocean, directly in front of the gates of the wonderful historical city Boston.

Here you can stroll brilliantly through the old historical streets. Arrived at the Atlantic Ocean, you have the possibility to visit the popular “New England Aquarium”. Here you will find a cylindrical water tank with a lot of sea dweller on one place. The tank is a simulated reef, which is containing even turtles.

If this is not enough, you can make a trip on the ocean. With a little luck, you can watch dolphins and humpback whales. You have also the possibility to visit the “Big Apple” if you rent a holiday flat, a hotel or motel in West Springfield. It is your choice.
