Angling is a favourite activity in the cristal water of Cilento sea, do try it especially on the beach of the Località Marina Campagna.

The olive trees of Villa Cecilia are so old and big that they prevent, even if just in part, the sea view, but the atmosphere is notwithstanding very enjoyable. You can enjoy a wonderful sea-view from the terraces of apartment 2 and 4 and from the balcony of apartment 3, as well as from sun terrace in the garden.

Your children will spend most of their time in our large and fenced garden discovering ist most hidden places.

Villa Cecilia is situated in a unique position. As many parts of Cilento are easily reachable from Villa Cecilia. So that you’ll be able to enjoy all various aspects of a holiday in Cilento.

Sink in the glamour of Palinuro and Marina di Camerota summer life, or attend the cultural attractions offered by Pisciotta (theatre performances and cultural soirées). Enjoy the sport facilities you can find anywhere in Ascea (e. g. horse-riding) in Palinuro (e. g. diving), in Pisciotta (e.g.tennis). But if you are a self –made-tourist, do wander around the magnificent Cilento region, discover the Mingardo valley, the mountains, the waterfalls of Morigerati, bathe in the crystal waters of our sea in the small beaches far from mass tourism and chaos and visit Pertosa caves. .

But if you are a culture-fan, do not forget that Pompei, Herculaneum, Paestum, Velia and many other magnificent archeological areas, as well as the Chartreuse of Padula can be attended on one-day trips. You will not find the time to visit them all as accurately as you would like!!

How to reach Pisciotta:
Pisciotta lies 150 km south of Naples (Capodichino airport) and 100 km south of Salerno. It can be easily reached by car or by train.

• By car: travel South on the motorways Naples – Salerno and Salerno - Reggio Calabria (A3) until to the Exit in Battipaglia; from there continue on the SS 18 (State Road) direction South, to the Exit in Vallo Scalo, then take the SP 447 (Provincial Road) direction Ascea, Pisciotta and Palinuro.

• By train: several trains, especially ICEs and EUROSTARs, stop during the summer in Pisciotta-Palinuro station. Most of them leave from Naples or Salerno.

• By plane: next airport is Capodichino in Naples.

How to reach “Villa Cecilia”:
• Coming from Ascea or the motorway: driving on the SP 447 from Ascea to Pisciotta you will find a narrow lane on the right. It begins in a bend just three kilometres before Pisciotta and at the height of three large signs of “Villaggio Club –La Marée”, “Ristorante Pizzeria Il Castello” and “Discoteca La Suerte”. Turn right onto the lane and continue down the hill, where it forks turn right again.
“Villa Cecilia” will be clearly in sight 300 metres onward on the left hand side

• Coming from Palinuro/Pisciotta-Palinuro station: : driving on the SP 447 reach the town of Pisciotta, go through and drive over it, direction Ascea. Three kilometres after Pisciotta, 50 metres after a FON petrol station and at the height of three large signs “Villaggio Club –La Marée”, “Ristorante Pizzeria Il Castello”, “Discoteca La Suerte”, you will find a narrow lane on the left. Turn left onto the lane and continue down the hill, where it forks turn right.
