The city Viccio is located amidst the Tuscany, in Mugello. Many holiday flats and hotels are awaiting you after you have arrived which let your holiday in Italy be a special experience.

Viccio above all impresses by the many beautiful squares which invite for relaxation and marvelling. Enjoy a coffee at the Piazza Giotto – the main square of the city. Afterwards you should visit the town hall and the parish church San Giovanni Battista. The many other churches, like e.g. the Chiesa di San Bartolomeo, the Chiesa de San Michele, the Badia or the die Cappella della Bruna are also well worth the visit.

 

If the weather is not so fine the museums allure you from your hotel in Vichio. An exhibition about the artist Fra Angelico can be found at the Museo Arte Sacra „Beato Angelico“. The house of birth of Giotto in Vespinano is nowadays also a museum. You will find interesting exhibits at the Casa Benvenuto Celini connected with the artist Cellini.

Who loves fast cars – above all Ferraris – will be right at the Autodromo Internazionale del Mugello. Yearly the GP of Italy is staged here during the Moto GP championship.

Before your holiday in the Tuscany ends you should make a day trip to Florence. The magnificent historic city with many squares, fountains, buildings and statues won´t release you and will make your time in Vicchio unforgettable.
