The city of the opera festival: Verona

Verona is the destination of dreams for all loving especially operatic music. Thereby the city at the river Adige has much more to offer than the opera festival. Romeo and Julia - the most famous lovers of the history of literature - are known nearly to everyone and thus nearly every holidaymaker is attracted by the Via Capella in order to admire the famous balcony. Touching the bronze statue of Julia should bring luck to you according to the legends and not only romantic people have tried that thousand fold.

Verona offers for every holidaymaker the suitable accommodation, ranging from the fine hotel to the holiday home specially designed for families and from there is the perfect origin in order to explore the city in its best way. The best way to start the exploration tour is to begin at the Castel San Pietro which throwns over the city due to the fact that the view here is dreamlike and provides a first impression about the many churches and church towers.

 

You should unconditionally visits - even if you are not a really great fan of music - the Amphitheater from the first century. Really a giant site.

Verona is an Eldorado for those loving culture due to the fact that there are so many ancient churches, pieces of art and museum that one holiday is nearly being too short in order to experience all of this.

If one who wants to indulge himself in between with a rest so the best way is to stroll along the Piazza delle Erbe. The picturesque market square invites for looking, amazement and buying. Even here some of the holiday homes or hotel has opened their doors and one can enjoy the typical Italian flair nearly like being „directly in front of the door“.
