Turin, Piemont – The former capital of Italy
Mole Antonelliana in Turin
In the North-Italian region Piemont you find the former million-metropolis Turin. With about more than 900,000 inhabitants it is the capital of the province Turin and the region Piemont. In 1861 Turin became capital of United Italy whereof even today 14 different castles testify.
