What to do on Your Holiday in Thailand

Thailand is one of the most exotic, interesting locations in the world that you can visit, and if you are interested in taking a holiday in Thailand, you are going to want to be aware of all the different wonderful things you can do and activities that you can partake in so that you can make the very most of your time there.

Your options are almost endless when it comes to a holiday in Thailand. A few of the places in Thailand in particular that you are going to want to check out are: Pattaya, Krabi, Mae Hong Son, Lampang, Ko Phi Phi Don, Mae Sai, Sukhothai, and Kanchanaburi.

You can spend one day in Bangkok Thailand, going on a train trip across the notorious River Kwai Bridge at Kanchanaburi, which was actually built by Allied prisoners under the direction of the Japanese during WWII.

You can admire the skills of the many kite fighters in this area, and don’t forget to take in a fabulous game of takraw, in which a small rattan ball is passed acrobatically around by players standing in a circle and using only their feet, knees, thighs, chests and shoulders to endeavor in order to keep the ball in the air and then kick it into a suspended basket.

Also on any holiday in Thailand you should spend a bit of time getting to know northern Thailand better, including the provinces of Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai and Mae Hong Son. You can go trekking, ride an elephant, or go rafting through the calm waters of this spectacular region.
