Who wants to be active but a bit more relaxed uses the 10 kilometres circuit cross-country ski run. The indoor ice rink, the many restaurants and après-ski bars are providing  fun and action.

Steinach itself is also well worth a stroll. Visit the parish church, the daughter churches of the Holy Ulrich and the Holy Ursula or the courthouse. Again and again you will run across well worth seeing villas of the time of the turn of the century.
