Slovenia - Natural beauty between mountain and sea

It seems that there is an European mikrokosmus spread out on a tiny area between Austria, Hungary, Italy and Croatia: Mountains and forests, picturesque villages at the shore, palaces, castles and fortress churches, a sub mediterranean climate at the Adriatic coast which is 47 kilometers long, alpine in the alps and the Karawanken and continental in the North-Eastern part. Slovenia is calmness and tranquility, cheerfulness and buzzling acticity, architectural beauty and natural landscape. Important transit routes which pass the country strengthened a traditional hospitality.

Tiny country – very trendy

This beautiful and multifaceted country is explored again newly by holidaymakers from regions which are not as coddled by the sun. The mild coastal region between Piran, Izola and Portoroz is „opened“ from March to November and ski areas like Krajnska Gora or Rogla which are developed first class have their main season from December until February. 

The traveller has a veriety of well-groomed pubs, restaurants, hotels, holiday apartments, camp sites and farms on hand.

Holiday  - Relaxed and active

Slovenia is swimming and wellness, sailing, hiking, hot springs, gulf, skiing, riding, yachting, paragliding and diving in caverns. In a drive of just two hours one can shift from being a beachcomber to be a snow bunny. There is a panorama of most attractive leisure activities in between. The root farm of the fine Lippizaner horses at Lipica is a must, the colourful ancient town of Ljubljana for flaneurs, the mountains with a height of more than 3,000 m wihtin the Triglav National park are a must see for summit climbers, the Bohinjsko jezero, the lake of Wochein one for active people where the scenery is reflected in a static water surface.
