Holidays in the „cradle of the Flamenco“

Seville, situated in the autonomous region of Andalusia in Spain, embodies the legendary Spanish temperament in a pleasant manner. The birthplace of the Spanish national dance Flamenco is an action place of numerous operas – the composers of "Carmen", „The barber of Seville“ and the „Wedding of the Figaro“ had already discovered the romantic atmosphere of the town.

The development of the today’s town with 700,000 inhabitants was already embossed by the Romans, as for example the aqueduct built by Julius Caesar which points what you can still visit today. Also the Islamic time of the town is to be recognised till this day – the time of the mosques and caliph. All the same whether you rent a hotel, a holiday apartment or a flat in this charming town, from there you can reach all places of interest of the town.

Whether you walk to the bell tower Giranda to listen to 22 bells with the harmonious play, or to the breathtaking Gothic church "Maria de la Sede" with its 5 naves, the marvellous glass paintings and art treasures  – every building earns to be taken up in the sightseeing tour.

A visit of the Alcazár with its halls and gardens is essential, just as a walk to the Plaza de Espana. The spirited Spaniards will welcome you warmly at your hotel, your summer cottage or the pension, and you will be spoiled with delicate Spanish national dishes.

Occasionally you should anyway try the different Tapas, the noshes which have its origin place in Seville.
