Region Varna - black sea, Bulgaria

 

Mineral and electro-galvanic herb, Kneipp and pearl baths, classical laser acupuncture, reflector therapy, transcutan nerve stimulation, different sorts of massages and the Bulgarian herb inhalation are only a small part of the possibilities which have developed from the traditions of the Bulgarian thermal baths. Spas are very traditional here.

In Varna, the third largest city of Bulgaria and at the same time seaside resort of international renown, the Romans already built a first antique thermal bath which can today only be admired but no longer used. The health resort Albena, on the other hand, is more modern and possesses plenty of sports clubs, hotels and holiday homes. A muddy specialty is the treatment with fango in Tuslate. Tourists who would like to indulge their eyes should visit the picturesque Dionysian city Balchik and enjoy the charm of past centuries and millenniums between the sea and the second largest botanical garden of the world.

Uncountable private holiday rooms and guesthouses invite visitors to remain spontaneous and to admire the sunset’s play of colours with a nice bottle of house wine. Of course there are also other possibilities to relax and forget the stressful daily life.

Tourists can best fulfil their dreams of a wonderful beach holiday in Golden Sands, where the name says it all – even if it could be expanded by the finest icing sugary beaches, crystal clear water and plenty of bars and discos.
