
Porec is situated on the west coast of the peninsula Istria. Besides towns of Rovinj and Pula it is an important coastal town of this region. Long ago the town has developed to a tourist area which meets all the wishes in the matter of holiday apartments, pensions and hotels. Porec has to owe its most famous building to its Roman influence.
The Euphrasius-Basilica built in its today's appearance in the 6th century and its outbuildings were explained in 1997 even by UNESCO to the world cultural heritage. Generally in Porec many examples and remains of the old Roman architecture are found. Particularly to be named is the canon's house and the house of the two saints. Moreover, the tower „Runde Turm“ attests to the strong medieval city fortification of the 15th century.

This very large family park (76 ha., of which 50 ha. is green area) is situated 13 km. from the centre of Porec and directly on the sea. The park consists of 756 apartments and villa's of various sorts and sizes. Accommodation: the apartments are located throughout various properties on the ground, first or second floor. All apartments have a have a patio or a balcony with garden furniture. The 6-7 persons apartment (HR-51000-03) is spread over two floors.
The main reason why the most tourists are coming to Porec should also be mentioned here of course. Beside many historical buildings the region disposes beautiful coastal scenery.
The water of the Adriatic Sea gleams in the nicest tones and invites for swimming, skin-diving and diving. If you never tried this you will be very surprised about the variety of the underwater world. However, the beaches can be also very well used for extensive walks.
A holiday apartment, a flat or a hotel in Porec offers in most different regards a place for leisure activities, culture and bath experience.
