Jalisco – Mexicos dream coast

A county is located In the west of Mexico directly at the Pacific which offers an unbelievable diversified natural landscape: Jalisco. The country is coined by magnificent coastal lines with long sand beaches and steep cliffs, volcano mountains in the South and the impressive valley of the Rio Grande de Santiago.

Numerous beautiful hotels in Jalisco make it enjoyable to explore the multifaceted landscape and the interesting cities on a tour through the heartland. The capital city of the county is Guadalajara, where still many buildings which are worth a visit can be seen in the Spanish baroque style. In general Guadalajara is the most „Mexican city of Mexico“, after all here is the home of the Sombreros and the Mariachis – those already nearly  legendary musicians which are nowadays well-known worldwide.

The Tequila is like a national beverage of the Mexicans and a visit of the city of the same name is nearly „obligatory“. After a tour through one of the distilleries with degustation already so many a tourist has promptly extended his personal list of preferred beverages.

But Jalisco has a great many of further small towns which one should unconditionally visit. Talpa de Allende for example is a place of pilgrimage in the highlands where thousands pilgrimage per year to the virgin Rosario de Talpa. A nearly already mystical appearing village, whose fascination nearly no one could escape.

San Sebastian is a mining town originating in the 17th century which lies in the mid of the mountains of the well-known Sierra Madre.

Everywhere where one arrives the hospitality of the Mexicans can be felt and also one is also welcomed cordially in the boarding houses in Jalisco.Of one then sits between the locals in one of the restaurants in Jalisco so one feels fastly a bit like a Mexican.
