Portinatx / Ibiza – a dream in turquoise and deep blue

Ibiza is the third-biggest island of the Balearic Islands. Yearly it attracts thousands sports enthusiasts and people in need of a rest to the Spanish autonomous island. To find a hotel, a summer cottage or a holiday apartment of every kind and for every taste, might not be a problem. Ibiza has a size of only 572 km ² and offers a lot to the visitors. If you go upcountry the island features by its hilly, green scenery.

The Atalaya with its 476 metres about the sea level is the highest elevation on Ibiza and a small challenge for every traveller and cyclist. In the north-east of the island you can find Portinatx, a very popular destination for unaccompanied passengers, couples and families. The place is located at one of the nicest coastlines of the island and can possess even three wonderful bays. Arising by the reason of the partly rocky, partly sandy sea bed the water sometimes gleams deep blue and at the next moment turquoise.

Portinatx is to be recommended not only for a beach holiday.

The town and the whole island hold a comprehensive sports offer of windsurfing, pedal boat driving, diving and cycling in readiness. When the day sinks you do not have to retire to your room at the hotel, in the summer cottage or holiday apartment.

Portinatx surprises with an extensively active nightlife where discos, bars and restaurants invite for staying and celebrating.
