Phoenix – auf den Spuren der Goldgräber und Schlossgeister

In Phoenix – Arizona – you can make a holiday like being a cowboy in former times. The city is the most suitable place of excursion for all of you who are really fans of western films and gold diggers.
The city is located at the edge of the Sonora desert. This impressing desert is loved by tourists who are making jeep sfaris. Or just wanting to have a bit gold dust in your nose ?

Then the mining city of Goldfield is the right place to be. Nearby Phoenix you can dig and try to find gold. The fondness for gold digging and for old Western can be found in nearly every hotel or vacation home. The rooms are mostly arranged and decorated according to the western style. A valuable sight for a trip is the Lost Dutchman gold mine. According to legend at least eight men lost their life when digging for gold. A mysterious breath is in the air. Also the Mystery Castle – the castle of secrets – guarantees the ghosts  mooed.

The castle is located at the edge of the southern mountains. A drive to South Mountain Park guarantees magnificient view points. There you can look over the whole city of Phoenix. There are many trails and trails for horse riding like in the North Mountain Park.

Everyone who books his holiday or hotel or vacation home in Phoenix – Arizona – can be sure to follow the trails of the cowboys and golddiggers and to experience true Western feeling. Western, horse riding, campfire and covered wagon tours are daily items on the agenda.

And similar to the flair of the city enlightened in the style of the cowboys the locals are behaving: They are really like the cowboys of former times: cool, hard as bone but still hearty and extremely loveable.
