Perfect Pernambuco - Brazil

The Pernambuco region is found in northeastern Brazil. The capital, Recife, is formed by canals and rivers and the region’s nature is extraordinarily beautiful. The architecture of the cities is unique, which is one of the reasons numerous tourists spend their vacations in this region every year. 

The accommodations are typical for this region. Instead of living in a hotel or motel, private rooms with a guest family are much recommended. They are clean, low-priced and give the vacationer an insight on the real life of the people here. At the same time, it helps to acquire the necessary language skills. Portuguese is spoken in Brazil and English will only be helpful in big cities, if at all.

The city of Olinda with its baroque Old Town is especially worth seeing. A stroll through the alleys will lead you past old churches, buildings from the colonial time and excellent restaurants.

Here, you will find hotels with pools and all other amenities, if you would like to have a touch of luxury.
Like everywhere else in Brazil, guests should make early reservations, if they are planning their vacation during the Carnival season, as all accommodations are usually fully booked at this time.
