Pennsylvania - the birthplace of today?s USA

Pennsylvania belongs to the most diverse States of the USA. The Americans like to call Pennsylvania the „Keystone State“ due to its historical sites. But magnificent beaches, skiing regions, large forests and uncountable lakes also make a stay in Pennsylvania unforgettable. 

The two cities Pittsburgh and Philadelphia combine history and shopping enjoyment. Philly is the birthplace of today’s USA. In 1776, independence was declared and the constitution signed here.

It was even the capital of the USA until Washington DC was completed.  Pittsburgh used to be the center of North America’s heavy industry and is convincing today with its impressive Andy Warhol art collections. 

These two cities are surrounded by huge skyscrapers, parks and department stores, which invite you to a shopping spree. Book a nice hotel or motel and enjoy a few days in Pittsburgh or Philadelphia. 

But Gettysburg also has much to tell about America. In 1863, the bloodiest battle of the American Civil War took place here which marked the turning point to the benefit of the northern States. Once a year, lay actors come together here to reenact this historic moment. It is worth booking a small vacation house or apartment and spending some time in Pennsylvania, the State so important to America.
