It´s right to denominate Mauritius as „island of happiness“ due to the fact that who arrives here insitinctively imagines to be in paradise. Thereby it doesn´t play any important part if you have rented a hotel or boarding hpuse directly at the beach or not. The holiday begins at that moment when you seet foot on the island. Mauritius has more than 160 kilometres of beach and dreamful beaches. The Indian Ocean with ist water tmeperatures etween 24° und 28°  is like especially created for bathing and snorkelling. A trip with the glass bottom boat or with the blue safari submarine up to a depth of 34 m is an absolute highlight for the little ones and for the adults.

Who wants to avoid large hotel complexes and wants to be self-sufficient has the choice between holiday flat or holiday home here. The people of Mauritius are happy to present the beauties of the island to their guests. A trip into the heartland therefore is part of every holiday. Thereby the largest attraction are the Botancial Gardens of Pamplemousse, approximtaly 12 kilommetres away from Port Louis.  Tropical ornamental flowers can be admired here as well as pepper bushes or spices.

Leaves of the water lilie of the size of a cartwheel swim on the lake of the water lilies with a child being able to sit on them without sinking or getting the feet wet?. But Pamplemousse has even more sights to offer. Thus the most ancient church of the island built in the 18th century can be found here in the village, an old and well-preserved sugar mill and an ecnlosure with Riesenschildkräten can be found on the area of the Botancial Gardens.
