Palma de Majorca – city experience and beach holiday in one hand

Palma de Majorca is the capital of the probably most popular holiday's island around the Mediterranean of the Germans. It is situated in the southwest of the many-sided and solar-spoilt island Balearic Islands. Flats, holiday apartments, pensions and hotels are galore available. Finally, Palma owns alone 13 beaches which are controlled and supervised constantly. Here a perfect family holiday, but also a thrilling party vacation full of experiences can be tackled.

Except for some roads the Old Town of Palma de Majorca is virtually "car-free". Thanks to the narrow and winding lanes the pedestrians there have constantly "priority" and can completely abandon themselves to the Spanish-Catalan and Arabian architectural mixture of the streets of houses.

Particularly while a visit in one of the small street cafés you can delightfully watch the life of this coloured world. The most important place of interest of the town is quite unchallenged the cathedral "La Seu" which is established in the Gothic style.

Thanks to its immense magnitudes it is to be found very easy. If you have, nevertheless, problems to find the cathedral you should take a look to the south of the Old Town. There it rises majestically near the harbour. Especially nicely is the sight onto from the water.

Many organizers offer harbour journeys where of course "La Seu" will be driven past. Besides, maybe you will thereby detect your flat, your small holiday apartment or your already the booked hotel.
