Paciano in the region Umbria in Italy is a holiday destination where not only families or circles of friends can spend nice holidays. The roots of Paciano go back till the Middle Ages. On the mountain Petrarvella, on which the town is situated, in the antique – at the times of the old Romans – a temple for the God Ianus was established. The city hall of the town is from the 13th century, just as some other historical constructions at the face.

Also the Saint Joseph´s church is a worth seeing building; the picture of the Madonna della Misericordia originated from the 15th century and was painted by Fiorenzo di Lorenzo. The church Santa Maria is another sign of the adoration of the Virgin Mary of the region which is also reflected in the sacred constructions.
