Ontario - the heart of Canada

Canada, the second largest country on our planet, certainly belongs to the most beautiful places in the world. Its unbelievable vastness gives you a feeling of freedom and its diverse nature fascinates thousands of visitors every year. With an area of 9.9 million square kilometers, Canada only has a population of 31.6 million.

A large part of the population is concentrated in a few densely populated areas, such as Ontario. If you want to experience something here, you should definitely visit Toronto. This metropolitan city is well prepared for vacationers. Many nice hotels await visitors here.

Although Toronto is not the capital of Canada, it is the largest city. The city is known as a shopping paradise. It is no wonder if you get lost in one of the many shopping malls, as they usually stretch over more than one city block. The CN Tower is naturally also worth seeing. The world’s highest freestanding building not only offers a fantastic view of the city, but a view of Lake Ontario as well. At Lake Ontario you will even find a few sand beaches which invite you to a swim. 

Toronto belongs to the English speaking part of Canada. But if you would also like to get to know French culture, you can visit Quebec in the east of Ontario.
An important reason why many people want to return to Canada is the heartiness and hospitality of the people here. The Canadians are justly proud of their country and are happy when visitors share their feelings.
