The municipality Oberstdorf is located in the Swavian administrative district Oberallgäu. Oberstdorf is the most Southern village of Germany. It is following Bavarian´s capital Munich and Lenggries the third largest municipality in Bavaria regarding the area. The municipality of Oberstdorf is loacetd in the Alps of the Allgäu. She is a resort with a healthy climate and also a village for the Kneipp cure.

Furthermore the village is a sport for winter sports activities with its ski areas and the cross-country  courses, the ice stadiuzm as well as ski jumps as well ski flying hill and is also a popular destination for many mountain climbers. With approximately 17,000 beds and 2,500,000 overnight stays per year this village is one of the most attracting magnets for tourists in Germany.
