New Zealand, a facet-rich country

New Zealand is subdivided into the North-island and the South-island. That gets noticeable also with the climate, while the winters are mild on the North-island, it can become quite frosty on the South-island in the New Zealander Alps. The north is a popular destination with the Trekking fans that are expected by an impressive nature.

The best known vacation-region in the north of New Zealand is the Bay of Iceland. Numerous dream-beaches line the coast and offer lots of alternation for water-athletes. Over 100 young isles are offshore the bay, but only Urupukapuka Iceland offers possibilities to sleeping in the hotel, motel or in a vacation house.

New Zealand offers each quantity to attractions and destination for adventurers and nature-lovers. Numerous national-parks give an insight into the fascinating flora and fauna of the country.

The landscape is partially still untouched and impresses through its different vegetation. But also the cities Wellington and Auckland offer alternation and interesting places for culture-lovers amply. The biggest city Auckland is a popular attraction with its numerous parks and the marinas.

The best known construction is the over 300 m high Sky tower, a television-tower that offers a staggering gaze on the city with its outlook-platforms.
