A vacation between waterfalls and tigers

North-east Thailand offers indescribable beauty spots to its visitors. The national parks in the northern and northeast area of the distant country attract with monsoon woods in the valleys, waterfalls which roar over precipitous cliffs and plateaus with full green meadows.

You can explore the Far Eastern atmosphere in the towns starting from the hotel, the flat or holiday apartment; also walking-tours to the many surrounding nature reserves are offered. Only one example of many possibilities is the nature reserve Phu Kradueng which just presents these spectacles of nature very well. You can even meet some tigers by walking through this park. To get a hiking guide is no trouble: the friendly people are helpful and obliging.

Though some of the parks are closed during the rainy season from July to October, however, offer the rest of the year a worthwile destination. In the hot season, from March to June, it is advisable to leave early in the morning in order not to have to sweat in the midday heat.

Of course to get to know the whole range of the nature of Thailand excursions to the coast are feasible at any time. Coaches or rent cars are available if you want to leave the hotel, summer cottage or pension, and make an excursion to Bangkok, or visit the coastal towns Si Racha or Sattahip.

The sun, nature and hospitable people promise an unforgettable vacation in marvellous panoramas.
