Nordborg – Relaxation for energetic people

15,000 inhabitants live in Nordborg, the green city on the island Als which is so closely linked with Danfoss, one of the leading industrial companies of Denmark.
The beautiful city with its numerous sights was voted to be the best city of the year in 1999. The church which was built in 1250 with its beautiful paintings and a pulpit of the 17th century which shows points of the life of Jesus.

Numerous holiday apartments, holiday flats and hotels are located in the heart of the city, the locals are friendly and open-minded are ready for giving touristic suggestions anytime.
The castle built in the year 1150 with a magnificent park is located on a small island in the contemplative lake which invites for relaxing walks.

The industrial company Danfoss which has its Group headquarters there presents the “Danfoss universe” presenting a world of experiences not only for children.  Trying, touching and giving something a try is presented here within the park of experience behind the walls of the "Blue Cube".  You can admire a reconstructed boat of an era foregone during the visit of the Linde yards.

The excellent golf link of the golf club Nordborg is recommended for all playing golf. Water rats and those loving water sports should prefer the smooth beach in Levensby.

An excursion starting at your holiday house with Hardeshoj as destination is well worth the visit where a small ferry boat ferries across to Ballebro, the perhaps most beautiful tiny spot on the island.
