Nice – The dreamland between the countries

Near to the Italian border and to the principality Monaco you find the French seaport Nice. The town is situated at the Côte d Azur at the Mediterranean Sea, in the semitropical climate which admits pleasure on bathing of every kind. Through the Alps in its background the town is lee and weatherproof; particularly in May Nice is a pleasant holiday destination.

Also in winter the weather is mild, there is hardly freeze. To find a room at a big hotel or a comfortable holiday apartment is no problem – the town can look back at a long tradition as a holiday place. The Niçois, the inhabitants of Nice, are friendly hosts and spoil the guests with good wines of the Bellet and culinary French kitchen.

In Nice you can enjoy lovely days at the stone beaches, but also the marks of the history which dates back till the fourth century B.C. are worth seeing. Numerous museums open the gates for the interested visitors, and show creations of Marc Chagall, Manet and other famous artists.

Also a visit to the Centre Cinématographique, in the film centre of Nizza you can experience cultural great pleasures. Also sacred and profane buildings of some construction epochs are listed on the sightseeing programme. Of course you can undertake great excursions to the environs, the vineyards or the Alps starting from the hotel or the holiday apartment.
