Moscow, A czar´s town which ascended to the world metropolis

Moscow is capital and the biggest town of Russia, it is a worldwide magnet for tourists. Reclusively the town almost offers an endless choice of possibility of charming hotels, flats and holiday apartments to its visitors. The town is located in a likeable hill scenery between the rivers Oka and the Volga.

Through Moscow the Moskwa meanders, a tributary of the Oka which also anastomosed into the Volga. Already since the 14th century Moscow was a government seat of the czars and centre of the Russian empire. Since the 16th century the town is also called the third Rome, because in the city more than 600 churches are dispensing.

However, the best known buildings are the Kreml and the Rote Platz in the centre of Moscow. Both are as a world cultural heritage on the list of UNESCO since 1990.

If you have only little time you should book a city guide to get to know the nicest places of the town. If you like to take the risk or come alive just at night, there is a nice offer of casinos and noble discos.

Moscow is not inferior as metropolis to cities like New York, Paris and London. Far from it! Even a hotel or a flat or holiday apartment in the so-called „Goldener Ring“ around Moscow offers what every visitor desires.
