Mindoro- Vacation - and nature-paradise in the South-Chinese Sea

The island of Mindoro lies southwest of the northern main island Luzon in the South-Chinese Sea. It is subdivided into two big provinces, the eastern "Oriental Mindoro" and the western "Occidental Mindoro". In the region of Mindoro live approximately 1 millions people. 

Over the centre and the western island-area, bigger mountain ranges stretch luxuriant tropical flora. For mountain climbers, the Mount Halcon is a challenge. At the West coast Sablayan is located. It is the starting point for boat-tours to the Apo - atoll, in which the same-named reef is located, which impresses with its wonderful coral-garden. Many rare animals, which are protected persistently, live on the three small islands of the atoll.

Barely 2 km before Sablayans coast lies Pandan the small bath-island. At the white dream-beaches, simple cottages are offered to the overnight stay. 

The city Puerto Galera at the North-coast is Mindoros the active touristic centre. Many high-price- hotels, but also favourable motels are available to the vacationers from the whole world. An exclusive golf course was positioned in the hills above the place. 

With 30 different spots, the coast belongs from Puerto Galera to the Top - diving-goals of the Philippines. One of the most popular beaches is Sabang and White Beach.
