Certainly Lyon exists not only of five restaurants of the century cook; however, you should allow yourself to interrupt the incomparable city travel to the third-biggest French metropolis in a Bocuse restaurant, to prove the necessary honour to the palatal joys which the master offers.

A hotel, a flat or a holiday apartment in Lyon are a starting point for a trip to the Romans time, the film history, operas, thirty museums and a huge number of other attractions. Along the Roman amphitheatre, over the „street of the first film“ where the brothers Lumière made the first film, up to an excursion by a lending bicycle to the Old Town of Lyons which are counted among to the world cultural heritage of UNESCO since 1998 – every day in this town is fulfilled by numerous enterprises and impressions.

Lyons is situated at the confluence of Rhône and Saône, at the foot of the Rhône Alps. Walks at the riversides or in the surrounding vineyards offer contrast programme for the visits of the museums; cinema and constructions from the time when Lyon was still called "Lugdunum" by the Romans. 

A visit of the „Park of the golden Head“ and the zoo there are also worth seeing. If you book a hotel, a summer cottage or a pension in Lyons, the whole variety of the French culture will be due – from exquisite cuisine up to impressive buildings, as for example the basilica Notre Dame de Fourvière or the cathedral Saint John.
