Through the town the “Weiße Elster” flows at where you can take nice walks. In the alluvial forest the “Pleiße” flows - here reigns a romantic mood which provides the complete well-being.

Within the town / of the Old Town you find many nice old houses from the early days. An absolute must-see while staying in Leipzig is anyway “Auerbachs Bierkeller”, which was already been mentioned in poetry and in the music.
