The County Kentucky – Horse breeding and the manufacturing of Whiskey

Whiskey destilleries, Kentucky derby and thoroughbred horses - this is the county of Kentucky in the USA. Having arrives in your holiday flat or your hotel a vacation in a magnificent, untouched nature can begin.

Large rivers mint the landscape of Kentucky. The Ohio, the Red and the Green river, the Mississippi River or the Cumberland River invite for fishing or swimming. Have you desired to be an Indian since a long time ? Than take a canoe tour and experience the magnificent landscape from the rivers and lakes.

The Mammoth Cave National Park impresses by the largest complex of caves of the world. The Cumberland Falls are a fantastic waterfall. Hear the roaring water and admire the unique power of nature. A visit in one of the many whiskey distilleries should be also be on your timetable. But no alcohol is served during the factory visits.

The history can also be experienced in one of the many museums. Start a visit of the National quilt museum in Paduca, the J. B. Speed museum of Art in Louisville or Fort Knox at your holiday flat.

A trip to the „horse capital of the world“ could be the crowning completion of your visit. One day trip is not enough to visit the many churches and synagogues of the city. 230 are located within the city area.
