Keene – To be guest in one of the old original states

Keene is located in the southwest of the state New Hampshire, which is situated in the northeast of the United States of America. It is more like a small town with its 22.000 habitants, but if you consider the population figure, it is the sixth largest city in New Hampshire. Since 2002 there is a partnership between the German commune Einbeck and Kene. The habitants of Keene call Einbeck “Sister City”.

New Hampshire still belongs to the region of New England and is one of the original states, which is founded by the Union of the United States in the year 1788. With a holiday flat, apartment or motel or hotel it is not difficult for you to feel like a part of this community. The people of this region are friendly and open-minded against foreigners.

If you like the nature, you will immediately feel at home in the region around Keene. Here you will find green grassland and nice forests. The beautiful “Pishgah Wilderness State Park” is situated only a few miles away from the holiday flats, pensions and hotels of Keene.
