Japan - Tradition and Modernity

Japan belongs to the exotic travel destinations that you should experience and see at least once. „The smiling country“, as Japan is often called, is diverse and offers its visitors an array of extraordinary sights.
These not only include the fantastic landscapes, but also the lively metropolises in which history and tradition mix with the present.

Tokyo is an especially good example. Countless culture monuments standing side by side with modern high rises await visitors here. In spite of its fast economic development, Japan was still able to retain its tradition. Thus it is no wonder that the old culture and the western lifestyle have merged so harmonically. 

About 120 kilometers away from Tokyo lies the Nikko National Park in the city of the same name. This temple region has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is a popular excursion destination for tourists. 

Japan is known as a very secure holiday destination with a low crime rate so that it is absolutely possible to take a circular tour on your own as a single person. But if you are planning to spend your vacation in Japan and to take a circular tour there, you should make your reservations from home.

Due to language barriers, it will not be easy for individual travelers to find an appropriate hotel or motel.
