Jackson – Cowboy village and gate to the untouched nature

In former times Jackson in Wyoming was an unmitigated cowboy village.  Yet four large gates can be seen at the Market place which are exclusively made of moose antlers. Additionally many tourists visit the Million Dollar Cowboy Bar, where the seats are made of saddles. These and more memories on the Wild West are still present. However Jackson is by then also a completely popular place where one spends his holidays. There is enough variety here: Superb restaurants, shopping malls, and above all superb hotels where you can – like it is very common within the USA – let the sun dawn. 

Naturally you should visit one of the impressive National Parks during your visit to the United States of America. The  Grand Tenton National Park  is located very near to Jackson which is not so famous like the Yellowstone Park. However it is not less interesting and exciting.

Without doubt the most popular activities are horseback rides through the nearly untouched scenery, watching wild animals, mountain hike tours and walking tours. Not to forget the opportunity for shooting enchanting photos.

Additionally there are many opportunities for vitalize and generally for overnight stays. And this is naturally possible in nearly all categories. Besides campgrounds there are numerous hotels in Jackson which take away a bit of the roughness of the holiday in the free nature.
