Vacation in Italy - again and again beautiful!

Hotel, holiday houses and vacation homes in Italy

"If I had not made the decision that I am now carrying out, I would certainly have been ruined - the desire to see Italy with my own eyes had thus reached such a heightened state in my mind." Goethe used these words to describe his desire to see the country that has contributed so much to Europe′s history. Rome and Naples still awaken passion in modern tourists. Italy unites opposites.

There is Sicily in the south with its hot summers and important structures from the ancient world and Norman and Baroque periods. In the north, Lombardy and Venetia and imposing cities such as Milano and Venice beckon the visitor. Napoli, Verona, Florence, Pisa, and Palermo - the list of beautiful Italian cities almost (with emphasis on the ′almost′) makes you forget that the Italian countryside is just as beautiful, that many beaches await your visit, and that the Italian cuisine is incomparable.

Hotels, vacation rentals and holiday homes in Italy

Italy - top in many aspects
Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo, Italian fashion, football, pizza, and pasta - all these different things are an indication of the impact that Italy has made, and still makes, on the world. The ancient Romans left traces all through Europe and of course in Italy itself. You need hours in Rome alone to see everything: the Coliseum and the Forum Romanum are only two of the most famous. Many other structures from former times are also world famous: the Leaning Tower of Pisa and the Piazza San Marco in Venice, for example. No matter which region you choose as your holiday destination, northern, central, or southern Italy - splendid art and architecture can be found everywhere. But maybe that?s not so important to you? You lean towards swimming, towards excellent food with an Italian wine?

Italy′s seaside can stand up to comparison with any in other countries. Fantastic white beaches on the Adriatic coast in the Emilia Romagna with cities such as Rimini, Cattolica, and Cesenatico are among the most popular in Italy.
In Venetia, the historic Caorle and Lido di Jesolo beckon. The small seaside towns at Monte Conero with their chalky cliffs and small bays are a treat. The maritime and Mediterranean climate on the Adriatic coast guarantees you a pleasant stay. But the interior has its own charms - just think of the inland areas of Tuscany, of olive groves and vineyards, small country churches and busy village markets.

Or South Tyrol with its extensive fruit plantations, whose blossoms color the region in spring just as the ripe fruit does in autumn. And of course, Italy is also a paradise for winter sports, a country with imposing mountains. The highest of these is Mont Blanc in the border region, known in Italy as Monte Bianco and over 4000 meters high. Many of the best-known ski regions of Italy are in South Tyrol - note the names Sulden or Kronplatz. Skiers looking for unusual regions could also travel far south; the area around Mt. Etna is also good for skiing.

Accommodations
Visitors to Italian cities can find attractive holiday homes as can beach guests, winter sports enthusiasts, or nature lovers. Many Italian villas - in Tuscany for example - have been made into holiday homes or holiday rentals -italy. Stay in the midst of olive groves, with a view down to the sea, or on one of the hills of Rome - you will seldom have lived in more style.
