Island Rab – sunblessed holiday island for connoisseurs

The Croatian holiday island of Rab is located in the Kvaerner bay of the Adriatic Sea. Geographically viewed the island is on the level of the 44th northern circle of latitude, whereby there is a mediterrenean and convenient climate nearly all the year round. Vacation flats in local style, pensions or comfortable hotels can be found all over the island.

Among  cities like Rab, Kampor, Banjol, Barbat or Suha Punta. The journey is made through a ferry boat connection from the mainland to the disembarkation point Jablanac. The crossing doesn`t last for more than 12 minutes and is maintained by the ferry all the year round. A journey with the own car doesn`t make any problems. Having reached the island lets the holiday begin. With an average of 2,470 hours of sun per year the visitors of the island will surely get their money worth.

This doesn`t let one surprise, that the island Rab is wrapped in lush green.

Walking through the nature of the island the visitor will face oak trees and hollies, sage and strawflowers. Having a bit of luck one can find mufflons or deers freely living in the nature. Who is enjoying the advantage of having a vacation flat or a pension respectively a hotel directly at the coast of the island of Rab, will be enchanted by the Blue of the Adriatic Sea.
