The West fjords one of the most popular holiday destinations in Iceland are both in Summer as well as in Winter a valuable destination for nature enthusiasts.
An especially interesting destination of this region is Látrabjar, the most Western point of Europa. Here you will find the world´s largest colony of sea birds. So rare species of birds like common murres and puffins are living in the cliffs which are rise up more than 400 metres.
