A Quick Tour Of Ibiza Spain - Vacation and party island the Ibiza

The island of Ibiza in Spain (part of the Balearic Islands) is often referred to as the White Island because of its typical white architecture. Ibiza became a tourist attraction in the 1960’s when it was well known for its hippie culture and nude beaches. 

Over time the island has become more family friendly yet still retains a robust nightlife that starts in the afternoon and continues until the early morning hours for younger visitors.

The city of Ibiza has some of the best beaches on the island such as Cala Talamaca and Cala Llonga.  The beaches Playas de Santa Eulalia, Cala Blanca and Es Canar can be found near Santa Eulalia.  While the city of San Antonio Abad is a very important tourist center with outstanding (and very crowded) beaches like Cala Gracio and Cala Blanch.

Travel to the southern end of Ibiza in Spain and you might find some lesser known, and less crowded, beaches and also the cave of Ses Fontelles with its prehistoric wall paintings.
