The island of Ibiza in Spain (part of the Balearic Islands) is often referred to as the White Island because of its typical white architecture. Ibiza became a tourist attraction in the 1960’s when it was well known for its hippie culture and nude beaches.
Over time the island has become more family friendly yet still retains a robust nightlife that starts in the afternoon and continues until the early morning hours for younger visitors. The city of Ibiza has some of the best beaches on the island such as Cala Talamaca and Cala Llonga.
