The sightseeing ships leave here for tours around Helsinki and the island knells, as well as the commuter ships to the zoo or the Suomenlinna island fortress.

But you can also just sit in one of the many coffee tents, watch people pass by and forget time entirely. Here you will find conversation quickly despite of different mentalities and language barriers.

The Finns will take you by word, so very talkative people often find mistrust and whoever tends to interrupt will land at the bottom of the conversation list.

The Finns are very polite contemporaries with good manners. If you like it quite, you will enjoy nature here. The Esplanade Park has its own personal charm – here you can savor delicious Finnish ice cream at the Amanda fountain. Buskers and hawkers make the picture perfect.
