Greece dreamy island groups
Over 3000 inhabited and uninhabited islands can be found in Greece. They are separated into different archipelagos.
The Saronic Archipelago is known for fishing and art. The many bathing coves and cloisters belong to its best known points of interest. It can be reached by ferry. Methana is an especially liked excursion destination for nature lovers due to its volcano regions and thermal spas.
The Northern Sporades consist of about 80 islands. A recommended sight is the National Ocean Park in northern Alonnissos. Many hotels and vacation apartments with an excellent view are offered for your vacation here or on the other islands.
The Dodecanese Islands and the Southern Sporades lie in the Aegean Sea. The popular island of Rhodos belongs to the 170 islands, of which only 30 are inhabited.
