Georgia is a State in the Southeast of the USA with a population of 9 million. The highest elevation in Georgia is the Brasstown Bold with 1458 meters. Georgia borders on Tennessee and North Carolina in the north, on South Carolina and on the Atlantic with a coast of 161 kilometers in the east, on Florida in the south and on Alabama in the west. This land, ruled by Indians, was first entered by Europeans in 1566. In 1732 the first British colony arose.
