Over 200 years old, the Fleether Mühle is a saw- and corn mill which was still in use during the DDR period. Today it is considered a historical site for its old technical equipment. Unfortunately, some years ago, an arson destroyed part of the sawmill.

However by looking at the ruins remained, you still can imagine the beauty of the old, half timbered house. The waters of the canal, connecting the Vilzsee and the Rätzsee, flow beyond the mill. Here, during high season, hundreds and sometimes even thousands of people, who daily enjoy “water trekking”, have to take out their canoes and transport them across the street.

The “Beergarden at the Fleether Mühle” is therefore a perfect place for resting under the shade of its very old trees, not only for "watertrekkers" but also for people who enjoy walking, trekking or bicycling the large choice of signed routes through the woods and countryside.

Going for mushrooms is worthwhile at the right season. At the walking distance of only 200m from the “Fleether Mühle” and 1 km from the beach of the picturesque Vilzsee in Fleeth, in an extremely tranquil position and surrounded by green fields and woods, is situated our recently constructed, well furnished and comfortable holiday apartment .
