Falkensee – Welcome to the commuter belt of Berlin

The city of Falkensee is located in the so called commuter belt and has until now preserved its  rurality. The village is the perfect destination for all who are searching the agrarian calmness and thus want to experience the sights of the capital city Berlin.

The city has developed itself from the locality Falkenhagen and Seegefeld and thus here a magnificent natural scenery can be foudn which is like especially created for a felicitous family vacation.

Often bicycles are present at the holiday flat or holiday home, so that the region can be explored during extensive bicycle tours without the stress and hectic of the daily life.

 

The two lakes are a popular place of excursions. The Neue See (New lake) and the Falkenhagen lake. A  circular route runs around the New lake which is perfect for joggers or Nordic walkers. The BMX cycling site is extremely popular amongst the children, where both beginners and the experienced will find different pipes and spots.

But one should also use the good connections to the city of Berlin during the vacation. The Brandenburg Gate, the Reichstag or the Potsdamer Platz, trendy bars and shrill people. The contrast between the lively agile capital city will be extremely visible when returning to the hotel or the boarding house in the contemplative Falkensee after a long and exciting day in the Capital city.

But wherealy one can combine the holiday in magnificent nature at the same time with the expeirences of a capital city, if not in Falkensee ?
