Epirus- the ancient landscape between the mountains and the sea

Epirus is a historical cultural landscape which stretches across the northwest of Greece. It lies between the Ionic Sea and the Pindos Mountains, the highest mountain range of the Greek mainland.

The nature preservation areas in the mountains, the picturesque mountain villages, rivers, lakes, but also the coastal region with long, sandy beaches and vacation spots or the large, fertile valleys near Arta and Prevezza are all visited by more and more tourists during their vacation.
