England borders on Scotland in the North, on Wales in the West and is spread over the largest part of Great Britain along the Roman Hadrian’s Wall from North England and the Lake District over the Midlands down to South England and Cornwall.

The breathtaking steep cliffs of Cornwall were made familiar by Rosamunde Pilcher films and attract many wanderers with their romantic coves, fishing villages and harbors. In South England there are also well known seaside resorts such as Torquay, Bath and Brighton, whose animate boardwalks are still justly known as tourist attractions.

If you like it more quiet and would like to explore England’s manifold landscapes, you might enjoy the deep forests and foggy high moors of Dartmoor.

In the Lake District, colloquially known as “The Lakes” and located in the Northwest, you will find a further paradise for ! wanderers: breathtaking landscapes filled with wild waterfalls, tarns and forests.
