Distrikt Diekirch, Luxembourg

 

The District of Diekirch in the north of Luxembourg contains the five cantons Redange, Wiltz, Clervaux, Vianden, and Diekirch.
The beautiful, vast landscape is dominated by rampant woods and rich green plateaus; picturesque river valleys and impressive river bends turn this charming swath of land into a true treasure of nature – not only for fishers. An exploratory trip by car or by bike is equally exciting and diversified.

Those who like castles and fortresses will find an unforgettable experience when they visit this region – there are many of them, such as Bourscheid Castle, Bertrange Castle or the castle ruins of Useldange – here you can see and experience living history.
