Family holiday in Costa Teguise – untouched nature and restirative holiday

Costa Teguise on the island of Lanzarote is a very young resort which has only a 20 years old history. In Cota Teguise being friendly to families is written in bold letters. The hotels, pensions and vacation homes have been adapted perfectly to the neighbourhood likewise the restaurants, cafés and the shopping facilities. Although the beaches have been heaped up with sand one can see and feel the formerly ruling forces of nature.

The beach Las Cucharas is one main attraction for windsurfers, who have ideal conditions due to the ongoing northern wind. Who is not fonds of windsurfing will finde a golf link directly situated near Costa Teguise. As a result of the otherwise very seldomly existing green space there is a great variety of species living there.

Costa Teguise is not a vibrant place as for example Puerto del Carmen, even the nightlife is flowing smoothly. Many hotels and vacation homes are furnished family friendly. Costa Teguise offers a calm and recreative holiday.

Although variety is not missed out. In about one kilometer distance from the city borders the aguapark was built - a fun and entertainment water park – which is childrens fun due to many glides. With rented cars – which are cheaply available on the island – you can experience the island on your own or take part in one of the many offered tours.

A tour to the Montana del Fuego demonstrates the power of nature in a very clearly way, e.g. when straw put into an earth hole is burning after a very short time or when the volcano spits the water out after some seconds as hot steam. A jeep safara is a lot of fun for adults and children and shows the craggy and fascinating landscape to the holidaymaker.
