Costa Rica – the rich coast

As the name implies Costa Rica is the rich coast, a varied state in Central America. Nicaragua, Panama, the Caribbean and the Pacific Ocean form the borders of the state. In the whole country a holiday apartment or a hotel from where you can experience the rich offers of the nature of Costa Rica can be found easily.

The Cordilleras, the mountain ranges with the volcanoes, are to be looked incredibly upon as the Valle Central in which the capital of San José is situated. Also the coasts, on one hand the Caribbean Coast with its alluvial plains and on the other hand the Pacific Coast – every scenery Costa Rica offers is unique in its manner and invites for numerous enterprises. Also the peninsula Nicoya is an enrichment of the country.

Very impressive is the highest mountain in Costa Rica, the Chirripó Grande, which is just 4,000 metres high and overtops everything in the country. Also some extinct and also some active volcanoes are to be found in the Central-American country.

Whether you set off from your hotel or your holiday apartment to explore the numerous national parks from which some even count to the world cultural heritage of UNESCO, or if you spend the holiday days on the coasts or just sitting in the shade of an Arbol de Guanacaste, the national tree of Costa Rica – holiday in this country is not to get ahead of the wealth of different impressions.
