College Park, Georgia – experience the unique

College Park in the US county of Georgia is directly located near Atlanta. Georgia is surrounded by five counties. Florida to the south, South Carolina to the east, North Carolina and Tennessee to the north and Alabama to the west. A hotel, motel or a vacation flat in the comparatively small community of College Park has many advantages.

Only some minutes by car to the Hartsfield - Jackson Atlanta International airport. Few kilometers north of College Park is the metropolis of Atlanta. Atlanta was scene of the Olympic summer games in 1996 and offers even several attractions for the visitors.

In 2005 the city saw the grand opening of the thitherto largest aquarium of the world. The Georgia Aquarium has not only colourful butterfly fishes for the guests to admire but also a nearly unique attraction.

In a basin – with a volume of about 30,000 m³ of water there are four huge whale sharks floating past the visitors. Who is fascinated in the aquarium and now looking forward to see animals living on land should visit the zoo. It is world-famous for his large group of Gorillas and the maintaining of panda bears.

A possibility to use the vacation flat, motel or hotel in College Park is a side trip to the so called stone mountain. This is the world's largest exposed Granite cliff.
