Hubei - the central province of China
The province of Hubei is located in the central area of China in the big Chinese sector and is affected by the stream course of the immense Jangtse and its tributary Hanshui. In the provincial centre the Wuhan the Hanshui flows with the navigable Jangtse to the immense yellow stream.
Wuhan, the economic centre of Hubei is an important junction and sets the connection between the North and South of China with its bridges and shows the second larges harbour at Yangtse. In the town area there are many also international hotels, because the town shows a good starting point for river travelling and excursions to the whole province. Worth seeing are the famous crane pagoda, the Buddhist cloister of Guiyuan and the old colonial quarter in the district Hankou.
